Mimbres / Anasazi Fantastic Bug Bowl Replication

This vessel is a replication of a Mimbres bowl displaying of all things, a fantastic bug! Intense fire clouds richly enhance this peace.  The design is exquisite and adeptly rendered.  It is difficult to believe that this bowl is a replication; it exudes authenticity. At Starling Black Studio, it is our goal to recreate replications of artifacts from extinct cultures that appear authentic. We use primitive processes and hand building to achieve this effect. If you love archeology, but find that original artifacts are expensive, unavailable, and at times of questionable origin, then I believe you will find that replication bowls are a viable alternative solution.
